Coronavirus and Access to the VNCA – UPDATE effective 8/3/2020

Based on the Coronavirus Response Plan for Texas Tech University, the Vietnam Center & Sam Johnson Vietnam Archive (VNCA) is now engaged in partial university operations.

We encourage all researchers to explore our extensive Vietnam War online holdings first and, if needed, submit reference requests to us via email for additional support. We also have staff available to answer phone-based inquiries at 806-742-9010. Our hours of phone operation are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

All visiting researchers must bring their own protective masks, must wear them at all times while inside the archive building, must maintain appropriate social distancing protocols (6 feet), and must engage in appropriate personal hygiene regarding the use of handwashing and hand-sanitizing stations freely available throughout the facility.
